Call Us. We Can Help
Call us right now at 1-855-652-4325 to speak with an Addiction Specialist. We can do a pre-assessment interview with you on the phone to find out more about your situation and what the next step should be.
A thorough assessment is the first step in determining the level of addiction for you or your loved one. We begin with a bio-psycho-social assessment that is offered at no charge. This assessment helps us to determine if you or your loved one is appropriate for our level of care. Our staff is very qualified at assessing American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) levels of addiction. Part of the assessment process also includes determining if you or your loved will need detox.
All clients that participate in programs at Therapia must be clean of any mind altering substances. Prior to admission, we require detoxification for any person who has been using excessive amounts of alcohol, opiates and/or benzodiazepines.
If our staff determines that detox is required, we will make the appropriate referral to one of our partner detox centers. The process of detox can take anywhere from 2-5 days. Each person is different depending on the amount of substance they have been using and the amount of time they have been using it. As you or your loved one experiences the detoxification process, we will work closely with the supervising doctor to determine when it is right to begin the next phase which is Residential Treatment.
Length of Stay: 90 days
Our residential program is 90 days. It has been our experience that those clients who complete the full 90 days of residential treatment have a higher likelihood of achieving long-term sobriety. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse “…research has shown unequivocally that good drug addiction outcomes are contingent on adequate treatment length. Generally, for residential treatment, participation for less than 90 days is of limited effectiveness….” We work with each client to create a treatment plan that meets their needs.
The residential program for men is comprised of group therapy, individual counseling, experiential therapy, and equine therapy delivered within a therapeutic living environment. Clients live in a beautiful spacious facility with other men who are also overcoming similar drug addictions. Our program is full service and includes housing, meals, and other life necessities. The men build a strong community as they work together to complete daily living tasks.
Our drug rehab for men revolves around the the 12 step program. We also use the therapeutic community model where members appropriately assist each other in the recovery process. The therapeutic community is based on integrity of the individual members, the group, and the staff.
Toward the end of the residential program, the focus shifts to helping clients prepare to return to their normal lives. During the final three weeks, we provide intensive case management to help clients find jobs, housing, transportation, and even federal assistance where appropriate.
Length of Stay: 90 days
(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
The recovery process does not end when clients leave our facility. For the 3 months after the residential program, clients participate in Continuing Care – evening therapy sessions that address issues related to long-term sobriety maintenance and related issues. During this time, clients maintain their own residence (preferably a licensed sober living facility) and carry on with their normal lives during the day. To help ensure long-term success, clients are randomly drug tested during this period.
Therápia invites and encourages all alumni to maintain involvement even after completing the residential and aftercare portions of the program. We sponsor a Wednesday evening 12 steps alumni meeting and encourage all clients to attend this meeting. Continued interaction with our strong Alumni group is key to maintaining those relationships that contribute to long-term sobriety. We also have a very active Alumni group on social media.
Our lifetime contract is available to all eligible alumni who have completed the our 90 day residential program and an approved outpatient sober living program. If one of our Alumni has a problem down the road, this contract allows them to come back and participate in appropriate services at no additional charge.
Our men’s drug rehab program is all-inclusive for our 90 day program of residential treatment along with lifetime alumni services.

"I started using drugs and alcohol when I was seventeen. It all started with alcohol and marijuana on the weekends. By age eighteen I had moved on to pain pills, shortly after I was a full blown heroin addict. I knew I needed to stop and could see my life going down the drain. Scholarships to college were lost...
