Therapia Addiction Healing Center is pleased to announce and welcome Dr. Craig Georgianna PhD, LMFT, as the new Clinical Director.
Dr. Georgianna specializes in treating adolescents, young adults, young couples, and families struggling with issues ranging from depression to substance abuse and dependence, trauma, sexual and multiple addictions. Dr. Georgianna has twenty years’ experience in working with individuals, couples, and families struggling to overcome substance use, abuse, and dependency issues.
Dr. Georgianna received both his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his Masters, Magna Cum Laude, in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from California State University, Long Beach. He received his Doctorate of Psychology from California Southern University. Craig is also an internationally published author having recently published the book “Hyperstimulation”, a book for parents on addressing adolescent gaming and sexual addictions.
Dr. Georgianna is the founder of The Centre for Psychotherapy, the Saggio Institute, and the International Institute for Adolescent Process Addiction. Dr. Georgianna started The Centre for Psychotherapy in 1993.
